As a writer for the Harvard Political Review's Electoral Politics column, Humza Bokhari hopes to bring to the table a rather unconventional perspective. Though born in California, he's spent most of his life outside the United States (in Pakistan for the most part). He sees events through a slightly global angle. He has many interests (literature, music and history to name a few) - but politics has played a rather large role in his life since the 2008 election. From all the way back in Karachi, he avidly followed the primaries, regardless of the fact that he was too young to vote. The process showed him how effective the American democratic system is, but also where change can be implemented. Since then, he's found electoral politics – at whatever level – incredibly exciting.
