Nuseir Yassin is a Contributing Writer for the Harvard Political Review. He lived his entire life in Israel as an Arab-Israeli. He describes himself as "just a village boy who went to a normal school, had normal friends, and ate normal food". The journey that led Nosayr to Harvard is complicated to say the least. His interests include: space exploration, global climate change, Palestinian-Israeli conflicts, the environment, feminism, economics, and business ventures. As a Palestinian citizen of Israel, he considers a passion for and a solid background in politics to be an absolute necessity. Being able to understand the language and the mentality of both sides of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has driven him to contribute to the ongoing peace process. Asides from politics, he enjoys looking at green arrows in the stock market and eating Caesar salad at Annenberg.
