Sheyda Aboii is a Public Health Columnist for the World Section of the Harvard Political Review. Interested in the intersection of global health and politics, Aboii regularly comments on trends in humanitarian interventions and NGO operations. As a freshman at Harvard College, Aboii is currently residing in Weld Hall where she played right wing defense on the soccer intramural team called The Shaft this past season. Aboii enjoys playing Capoeira, hearing her roommate sing My Girl off key, falling asleep to CSPAN, and of course, writing for the HPR. In addition to blogging for HPR, Aboii also writes for The Harvard Triple Helix Magazine and is a staff photographer on The Harvard Crimson.
